Chad started in Illinois on the Mississippi River. In the past 12 years his non-profit has pulled over 4 million tons of garbage out of the water, inspired a myriad of river town and cities to maintain their waterways, and developed an education program to help teachers incorporate river stewardship into their curriculum.

He has a book called From The Bottom Up that explains his story. You can purchase it here.
